Any personal details that you supply to Joanna’s Dance Academy will only ever be used for administration purposes only.

Only the principal will have access to these details and the class teacher will have access to emergency contact and medical information.

Third Parties

When agreeing to enter your child into an examination, some of your child’s details, including full name and date of birth, will be passed on to our examining body so they can enter your child correctly into the right exam. Our examining bodies are The National Association Teachers of Dancing (NATD - for freestyle, contemporary and street exams only) and The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD - for ballet exams only).

When signing your child/children up to take part in a dance show, Joanna’s Dance Academy will need to pass on the children’s personal details (name, date of birth and address) to the local council that they are registered under (eg Staffordshire county council or Derbyshire County Council) so that a child performance license can be obtained. This is a legal requirement to make sure that children are fully protected and safe throughout performances and are not exploited. Please get in touch if you would like more information on this.
